Grand Master title
Earn the Master title for every one of the first 150 Pokémon, then talk to the woman in the Game Freak office (Celadon Condominiums, 3F) to receive Grand Master.
- Master Trainers appear across Kanto only after you become Champion. None are inside Gyms.
- Rules: you may use only one Pokémon of the trainer's species, in the lead slot, with no items. Alolan forms and Mega Evolution are allowed for you.
- Ditto, the legendary birds and Mewtwo don't battle. Show them a Pokémon of that species with enough CP instead.
- Mew, Meltan and Melmetal titles are optional for Grand Master (some guides list all 153; Bulbapedia says 150).
